Teslin Lake Provincial Park, Yukon Territory

Okay, so we hit the road again. We didn't go far before arriving at a sightseeing stop--Rancheria Falls. It is a nice walk to two small falls on the Rancheria River.
There was supposed to be a geocache near the observation deck for this side of the falls, but the four of us couldn't find it.
Bob did get a picture of three of us with the falls in the background.
Then is was over to the other falls to see the difference. I think these falls were running faster than the other side.
I did find some interesting plant growth in the woods near the second falls.
So after we left Rancheria Falls we ran into more construction, which translates into gravel road! The dust blob in front of us is Connie and Larry's rig. We gave them and other vehicles plenty of room on the gravel road.
Bob and I stopped to geocache at the Swan Lake overlook. We had a good view of Mount Simpson in the background. Yes, we got the geocache at this location.
Our destination for the night was Teslin Lake Provincial Park. It is on the west side of the village of Teslin. To get to Teslin you have to cross the Nisutlin Bay Bridge. It is the longest water span on the Alaskan Highway. Of course, we stopped at the overlook to check out the bridge before crossing. That is the village of Teslin on the other side of the bay.
Connie and Larry went over the bridge ahead of us. Something (or was it Larry?) tells me that Connie had her eyes closed for this crossing.
From the bridge it was only about 5 minutes to the provincial park.
We unhooked our cars and drove through the campground to find the best sites for us.
We parked at the pull through behind Connie and Larry.
Since there was still a lot of daylight left, Bob and I  went back to Teslin to check prices and do a little sightseeing. Well, milk in Teslin was $9.25 for 4 liters which is just a little over a gallon and cream cheese was $6.49 for the eight ounce brick.

We stopped at the Teslin Lake overlook f  on our way back to the campsite.
Since we only like to drive about 150-175 miles a day, we are now halfway between Watson Lake and Whitehorse! I don't know if you noticed, but when we went to Northwest Territories we were wearing shorts and at Teslin Lake we have on short sleeves, no jackets. The weather has been unpredictable for this time of year.
